Inventory items error

E.g. The request to update this item failed due to the following error from eBay: This operation is not allowed for inventory items.

This issue can happen when your items have been added to eBay using 3rd party inventory software. This means that the items are locked so they may only be updated using that particular software.

If you no longer use this other software, unfortunately there's no way Price Guard can update these items due to the restriction in place by eBay. You can try contacting eBay and they may be able to unlock the items for you. Otherwise you'll need to recreate those items directly in eBay.

Price Guard does support some inventory software, so if you're still using the software, check if it is supported by Price Guard. If it is supported, Price Guard can send the price updates to the inventory software which will then forward those changes through to eBay.
